A teacher at a school where a villain gunman murdered 19 children and two adults was left traumatized after police wrongly said she left a door open, allowing the killer entry.

Emilia Marin has been subjected to disgusting abuse following the false allegation made by authorities following the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

It took police several days to correct their statement and confirm that Ms Marin had closed the door of the building when she saw 18-year-old Salvador Rolando Ramos coming.

Tragically, the door wasn’t locked as intended, investigators revealed.

Ms Marin’s attorney, Don Flanary, said she required neurological treatment due to the atrocities and the trauma of being falsely accused.

He said CNN She “can’t stop shaking,” adding, “It’s traumatic for her to be implied to be involved. She’s heartbroken.”

Mr Flanary described the guilt as “the most awful thing anyone could have endured”.

She saw a car go into a ditch in front of the school, the attorney said, and pushed the door open when she called 911.

But when she saw Ramos coming towards her with a gun before the May 24 massacre, she slammed the door.

Mr. Flanar said NBC News : “She’s not doing well mentally. She’s a wreck.

“She has been to her doctor and is still receiving treatment.

“It’s going to be a long road, as it is for so many other people.”

Travis Considine, chief communications officer for the Texas Department of Public Safety, later confirmed to reporters, “She came back while she was on the phone, she heard someone yell, ‘He’s got a gun!’, she saw him jump over the fence and so did he had a gun, so she ran back inside and removed the stone as she did.

“We checked that she closed the door. The door did not lock.

“We know so much and now investigators are investigating why it wasn’t blocked.”
