Teenage girl seriously injured in Donegal road accident

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a road accident in Donegal seriously injured a teenager.

The collision involving a single car occurred at around 9.15pm on Sunday at Meenformal, Glen, Carriag Art.

A boy and girl, both 17, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The girl has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital where she is believed to be in serious condition.

Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to the collision to get in touch. All road users who were in the area at the time and have camera footage, including dash cam footage, are asked to provide it to the Gardaí investigation.
