A teenager has been taken to hospital after being punched in the face in an unprovoked attack in broad daylight in a city center.
The 13-year-old boy was walking along the upper promenade of Grand Parade in Hastings when he was attacked and headbutted and slapped in the face by a group of two boys and a girl.
The group, all dressed in black and with a black scooter, then made their way to Hastings Pier.
He was taken to Conquest Hospital for treatment for his injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the attack, which took place around 4 p.m. on November 28.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the group in the area at the time, or has additional information is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial number 1180 dated 11/28. to specify.
