Teenagers stabbed and punched in an attack outside Lewes Tesco

TWO teenagers have been stabbed to death in a ‘nasty attack’ outside a Tesco supermarket.

The victims were attacked outside the Brooks Road shop in Lewes, a third was also attacked but not stabbed.

Detectives are looking for two people as part of an investigation into the incident, which took place around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 20.

Both individuals are described as white and in their mid to late teens.

The first person wore a black zip-up hoodie with white sides, dark pants and white sneakers.

The second wore a light-colored zip-up hoodie and light-colored pants with prominent dark pockets.

Detective Constable Sarah Pittmann said: “This was an unprovoked and vicious attack in which two of the victims were stabbed and punched and kicked, the third victim was also punched.

“I am very interested in hearing from anyone who can identify these individuals, as well as anyone who witnessed or has any information regarding the incident.”

Anyone with information that may assist police in their investigation is urged to contact police online or call 101 using serial number 1437 dated 08/20.
