Luke Bould was appointed commercial director at TEGlive entertainment, ticketing, digital and data giant based in Australia.
In his new role, Bould, an experienced marketing and commercial executive, is responsible for TEG’s commercial operations across the group, operating more than 30 brands in 40 countries , works with media conglomerate businesses to “identify and drive growth opportunities globally,” according to an announcement issued Monday.
In addition, he oversaw the communication and work activities of TEG.
Based in Sydney, Bould reports to TEG CEO Geoff Jones. “We are excited to welcome Luke in this important role as we continue to demonstrate the power of in-person experiences to connect brands with consumers and generate ROI,” Jones said. “Luke is an experienced executive with a strong track record of driving commercial growth, digital innovation and creative deals in sports, events and music. Bould joins the company with a resume packed with international experience in the sports and entertainment sectors, including the music industry.
The new hire has held senior commercial positions at Cricket Australia, and is the commercial director and marketing director of Football Australia.
He also founded alacria, a strategic management consulting firm; very well suited to Universal Music Group’s Polygram in the UK; and has held a number of non-executive director positions.

Currently, the TEG empire includes TEG Live, TEG Sport, TEG Experiences, TEG Dosystem, SXSW Sydney, TEG MJR, TEG Van Egmond, Laneway Festival, TEG Rockefeller, Handsome Tours, Qudos Bank Arena, Ticketek and Ovation, with business operating business of seven national offices.
