Tennis fans camped out overnight at Wimbledon hoping to be at the front of the queue for tickets to see Emma Radacanu make her Center Court debut tomorrow.

Tents were pitched in rows at Wimbledon Park, south-west London, as 19-year-old Emma trained on the practice grounds before visiting Center Court, where she will play Belgium’s Alison van Uytvanck tomorrow.

Andy Murray, 35, then plays Australia’s James Duckworth in a first day of action at the tournament, which is back at full capacity for the first time since 2019.

They settled into their makeshift camp and enjoyed the sunshine ahead of tomorrow’s queues.

Appearing on tennis’ most famous stage, Center Court, is the latest chapter in their story over the past year.
