Horrifying footage has captured a father who allegedly plowed his car into a group of schoolchildren after his daughter got drenched in a water fight.

Screaming youths dispersed as a silver vehicle mounted a pavement and headed towards them near Barra Hall Park in Hayes, west London, on Friday afternoon.

A girl is heard yelling “this guy is trying to kill people” while a group tries to chase the car.

Another clip uploaded recently appears to show a man tussling with children in school uniform while they spray water pistols.

The video was posted on social media alongside the caption: “Apparently it was because his daughter got soaked in a water fight.”

He was released under investigation while the investigation continues.

A 14-year-old girl claimed she was attacked by the driver of the car and a 15-year-old boy claimed the car hit his leg.

Neither required medical attention, the Metropolitan Police said.

Footage of the apparent water fight was captured on the hottest day of the year so far, when temperatures at Heathrow in west London hit 32.4C, beating the previous high of 30.7C.

“He was taken into police custody and has since been released under investigation while the investigation continues.”
