In an exclusive interview with /Film’s Ryan Scott, Leone made it clear that the epic-length killer sequel won’t be Art’s last bloody crusade. “I basically have the structure for season three already,” confirmed Leone.
Before the premiere of Fantastic Fest, word of mouth react from its show FrightFest indicates that “Terrifier 2” is in many ways a superior film to its predecessor, expanding on Art beyond introducing an actual story around this time. The chain of helpless victims is over, and here’s the real challenger to Art’s bloody reign of terror for Lauren LaVera as Sienna.
As for where Art might go next, Leone and Thornton casually joke about the sly killer clown going into space or Las Vegas, but the “Terrifier 2” filmmaker seems intent on making a third. being a movie doesn’t go too far from what. made this series so terrifying:
“Right now, I just want to tell a solid story, where it has a nice arc for my heroes, my villains, it’s done. So season three is , I can almost guarantee a third. Then? We’ll see if there’s still anything and if the fans still accept this character and this franchise.”
If Art still keeps you awake at night, it will give you great comfort when the nightmare seems far from over.
