What is the Tesco method?

Tesco shoppers use a discount code at the self-checkout that works on a range of sweets.

Most coupons allow up to £5 worth of sweets, but people have found a way to use the coupons multiple times, which essentially means they can scan free sweets endlessly.

Customers take advantage of Tesco employees who are in a hurry and quickly approve the purchase without properly investigating the purchase.

However, the plan is not 100% fully provable as other videos show scammers being denied carts of candy at the checkout.

How do people get the Tesco coupons?

People search “Tesco method” on TikTok, save the videos, and then take a screenshot of the coupons.

They then scan the coupons after selecting “Finish and Pay.”

Tesco is aware of the problem, buyers have warned

On TikTok users, @hollyvlogsofficialrevealed some people are now being banned from their local supermarkets and has warned people not to try the fraudulent method.

Tesco said it is aware of the issue and has implemented a solution to prevent fraudulent use of this voucher.
