in one press releaseAccording to Tesla, the Model 3 and Y accounted for 295,324 of those deliveries, while 14,724 were for the Model S and X. Deliveries increased slightly compared to the previous quarter 308,600 deliveries and outdated the 184,800 shipments made by Tesla in the first quarter, an increase of 68 percent year-on-year. On the production side, Tesla managed to build a total of 305,407 vehicles.
This was an *exceptionally* difficult quarter due to supply chain disruptions and the China Zero Covid policy.

Last month, Tesla has closed its Shanghai factory for two days amid a surge in COVID-19 cases and closed the factory again last week as Shanghai continues to struggle with a city-wide lockdown. The Shanghai plant is the company’s largest and produces both Model 3s and Model Ys.
Tesla recently opened its first European factory in Berlin, Germany, and is to celebrate a “cyber rodeo”. the grand opening of its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas on April 7 — both of which could help offset manufacturing problems caused by the COVID-related lockdowns in Shanghai.
