Most of us can safely say that sometimes we wish the chores would take care of themselves.
Luckily for us, many of our household appliances can now do this.
After all, we have machines to wash our dishes for us, appliances to prepare and cook for us, and appliances to wash our delicates when we’re not at home.
Robot vacuums have come a long way since their humble beginnings and are almost as common as regular vacuums in some homes. A robot vacuum cleaner essentially cuts your floor cleaning time by 90%, all you have to do is turn it on and watch it run.
That’s right, never lift a finger again; well, at least not with the vacuum cleaning.
It’s worth noting that many robot vacuums cost anywhere from $200 to over $1000 in some cases. But compared to some of the top wireless models, you’re not paying too much in the long run.
Many of today’s robot vacuum cleaner models have built-in Wi-Fi and a variety of smart features to make cleaning easier. These include onboard cameras, home mapping, and even the ability to memorize difficult areas of the home for added convenience.
Below we have compiled some of the best robot vacuum cleaners that you can buy online right now.

How do I choose a robot vacuum?
First, like all household appliances these days, robot vacuums (considering all the features) can get pretty expensive.
They are definitely an investment, just like any other appliance in the house. When you’re on a budget, it’s important to stick to it and scale back your search for what you can afford.
Suction power tends to vary, but most high-end models start somewhere around 1000 Pa and up. Not that lower scores wouldn’t do the trick, but if you’re looking for a deep clean, we’d recommend looking for anything above the 1000 mark.
Again, this will vary greatly depending on the model. Anything under an hour probably isn’t best suited for large homes or large rooms without requiring a charge in between.
Still, seeing over 120 minutes of runtime and more on a single charge should be enough for most modest-sized homes.
Before you buy, check which functions you absolutely need. If you don’t have pets, you don’t need the latest model with special pet features.
If you have stairs in your home, look out for models with automatic hazard detection or built-in home mapping.
If you have a pet, why not check out models that can clean and mop at the same time?
