The A27 has been closed due to an ongoing accident near Chichester
A section of the A27 is closed following an incident at a roundabout.
The incident, which took place near Fishbourne Roundabout in Chichester, has brought traffic to a standstill.
It was believed to have taken place just after 10am on Saturday 5 November but is currently ongoing.
The road is currently closed in both directions between the A259 West at Emsworth and the A259 East at Fishbourne near the roundabout. Traffic jams have built up on the A259 main road as cars swerve out of the area.

What led to the incident is currently unclear.
Detours have been set up to control traffic.
Sussex Police have been contacted regarding the incident.
