MINI unveils a radical new concept car this week.
The Aceman sets the tone for future cars with its design language, while Mini evolves into a pure electric brand by the beginning of the next decade.
The Aceman joins the upcoming unveiling of electric versions of the Mini 3dr Hatch and Countryman SUV.
The new concept will reportedly fit below the Countryman, but it will have a distinctly premium price point. It is built in China.
According to Mini, the radical look fits into the picture
the famous traditional values of the brand with cutting-edge technology and therefore
lays out a blueprint for that
All-electric model family of the next generation.
Mini wants to give each model its own distinctive look.
It describes it as giving each model “independent vehicle personalities” (his words,
not mine; Automakers sometimes tend to get carried away).
Also, as part of the new design push, leather is no longer used for the interior and the use of chrome is reduced.
