The Apprentice: Nick Shooting was given shoes by Lord Sugar
Apprentice candidate Nick Shoeling was given the boot by Lord Sugar on tonight’s episode – and fans were “in tears” because they didn’t want to see him go.
The qualified accountant, 31, failed to impress the business magnate after this week’s ordeal.
The remaining contestants were tasked with organizing a racing-themed away day at Silverstone.
The team that generates the biggest overall profits finds themselves on the winning podium while on the losing team, which would be the end of the road for at least one candidate.
In the boardroom, Lord Sugar emerged – and for Nick it was the end of the race, making him the eighth Apprentice star when it was announced “You’re fired!”

Not impressed with Nick’s poor negotiating skills, Lord Sugar stated: “Nick, I’ve been waiting for eight weeks for you to get off the starting line, but unfortunately the checkered flag has been waved, and So it’s Nick’s regret . . . you’re fired.”
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their disappointment when Nick was booted up.
One wrote: “Damn, I beat Nick as a winner lol…… .. #Probationer. ”
A second was written: “Not Nick. I’m sad. # Apprentice.”
“I’m crying and sad because of the fact that Nick was fired #Probationer” added a third person.
Last week, fans of the BBC One show saw Sophie Wilding start.
She was accused by fans of being ‘rude’ as she walked out of the boardroom after being sacked by Lord Sugar.
The 32-year-old looked annoyed as the latest victim in Lord Sugar’s boardroom and could only muster a simple ‘thank you’ to the business magnate before heading out the door.
In the dying moments of the latest episode, Sophie was given the boot to her team’s ‘driverless partying party’.
And fans of the show took to Twitter to criticize the former candidate for failing to acknowledge Lord Sugar’s investment in her career during her time on the show.
One said: “Sophie didn’t say thank you for the opportunity to come to Lord Sugar… Tut Tut! #TheApprentice.”

A third asked: “Did Sophie even say ‘thank you for the chance’, she quickly sank into #TheApprentice.”
