The Art of Strategy event adds a little pinch of RTS challenge to World of Tanks

The Art of Strategy event takes place world of tankswhich brings RTS influenced gameplay and setups as well as some missions and various loots influenced by RTS style strategic gameplay, the event runs from today until May 4th and you have a chance to win in 1v7 and 1v1 Butcher.

world of tanks already has strategic combat and planning, but the Wargaming developers decided to add some new flavor. This event uses only Tier X vehicles for 1v7 and 1v1. In the 1v1 challenge, a player commands a squad of 7 vehicles on the battlefield. These tanks need orders, so you are the one giving them as a strategist. After a 60-second break from planning, during which you can also deploy your vehicles and build up your defenses, your strategic decisions will make all the difference here.

The 1v7 mode is available from today, the next mode 1v7 where 7 tankers compete against a strategist and his 7 vehicles will go live on April 25th. The goal of these modes is to either destroy all enemy vehicles or capture the base, whatever your strategy works. You need information and orders.

When you play the strategist you have your 7 AI controlled vehicles that can operate independently based on the commands you give during battle. Strategists can also set routes for the vehicles as you also have a top-down view. A Strategist also has auxiliary defenses at several fixed positions, which can also be supported as independent combat units. If necessary, you can take control of each of your vehicles as a strategist and control them individually.

There are also two daily missions for both roles, giving you a total of 4 daily missions to play depending on what you focus on during the event. For the daily missions there are rewards such as styles, badges and crew members.
