An Audi owner is furious after an Asda delivery driver backed into his car before driving off.
Paul Barker, 40, claimed the delivery man left no message after he smashed the driver’s side window and door.
Video shows the van reversing too fast when it collided with the Audi A3 outside Paul’s home in Bromley, south-east London.
Paul claimed the driver drove away without attempting to contact him or trace the owner.
The collision with the Audi, which costs £30,000 new, was caught on another driver’s dashcam.
He said: “Asda was useless. They did everything they could to identify the van but still didn’t give us any insurance details.
“We cannot fix the car until we have these details. They just seem to think they can fob people off.
“We want to get the car back on the road, but it’s not drivable, we just want to put that behind us.
“Unfortunately we received no apologies for the incident and no one called even though I gave my number.
“The driver can’t claim he didn’t notice because they not only stole the car, they made a hole in it.
“If you don’t know or feel these effects, you shouldn’t be traveling.”
An Asda spokesman said: “Accidents can happen from time to time.
“We are in contact with Mr Barker to have his car repaired as soon as possible but we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”
