Former Bachelor star Colton Underwood has confirmed that he is getting married.
The Season 23 star, 30, has announced that he’s partner Jordan C Brown, 39, now engaged after less than a year of dating.
Colton bravely came out as gay last April during a TV romance and told about his relationship with Jordan just a few months later.
And now, the duo is ready to take their relationship to the next step as they prepare to tie the knot.
Talking to People Magazine on Monday, Colton said: “I’m incredibly happy! 2021 has been the most transformative year of my life.
“Starting 2022 with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought possible.”
The couple’s decision to get married came as they celebrated a trip to California’s Central Coast.
Colton continued: “After my birthday, Jordan and I went to Big Sur for a weekend getaway to clear our mind and relax in nature.
“I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to celebrate an incredible milestone in my life and relationship.”
The first time they were romantically bonded in public was in September 2021 after they were spotted looking very cozy in Hawaii.
At the time, a source told Page Six: “They were together at the resort.”
In December, they officially made their relationship public on Instagram, just five months after Colton came out as gay.
During a conversation with Good Morning America, Colton revealed he has long been hiding from his true self but is now ready to follow his heart.
He explained, “I ran away from myself for a long time. I hated myself for a long time.
“And I’m gay. And I accepted that earlier this year and am working on it. And the next step in all of this is letting people know.”

He admits that it took him a while to process his emotions and that the conversation with Good Morning America was the next step in his journey, although he was nervous about doing it.
“I’m still nervous, but yeah,” he continued at the time. “It’s definitely been a journey.”
He was the star of the hit dating show The Bachelor in 2019 and chose Cassie Randolph as his final pick.
While the couple have discussed getting engaged, Colton has never been questioned on the show and less than two years after their relationship they decided to go their separate ways.
He previously starred in The Bachelorette in 2018 and also went on to star in the 4th series of Bachelor in Paradise.
