Police responded to a “disturbed” unknown call at an address in Oklahoma, US, and learned that a dead child was at the property when they arrived

The body of a three-year-old girl was found in a rubbish bin outside a house before her grandmother was charged with first-degree murder.
Police responded to a “disturbed” call Tuesday afternoon in Oklahoma, U.S., and when they arrived at the property, they found Riley Lynn Nolan dead in a trash can.
Officials said the child had “obvious signs of trauma to her body.”
According to police, Riley was recently in the care of her 60-year-old grandmother, Becky Ann Vreeland.
Vreeland was taken to police headquarters for questioning and is being held in the Cleveland County Jail on first-degree murder and child neglect charges. KKTV reports.
A statement of the police says: “Yesterday afternoon, police responded to an unknown call at 617 SW 151 St. Upon arrival, officers were told there was a deceased child at the residence.
“Officials found the body of three-year-old Riley Nolan in a trash can at the home.
“The child had obvious signs of trauma on her body.
“The child was recently in the care of her grandmother, Becky Vreeland.
“Ms. Vreeland was transported to Police Headquarters where she was questioned and subsequently committed to the Cleveland County Jail for murder.
