A BOY has been left with facial injuries requiring surgery and rehabilitation after being attacked in a park.
The 15-year-old boy was “kicked and punched” by four boys of the same age at Hotham Park, Bognor, at around 8pm last Friday 5 August.
All four boys wore balaclavas and black Nike tracksuits, while one wore a blue tracksuit.
Officers went to the scene and conducted a search, but there was no sign of the attackers.
Detective Sergeant Molly O’Malley of the Coastal Criminal Investigations Department said: “The victim sustained serious physical injuries which required surgery and rehabilitation, an impact that will no doubt stay with him for the rest of his life.
“We are seeking information from anyone who was at Hotham Park on Friday night who may have witnessed the attack or the suspects leaving the scene.”
