The brand new Sky TV remote trick makes life so much easier with one click

SKY makes it even easier for you to resume your favorite shows.

The broadcasting giant is introducing a brand new remote control feature this week.

It allows you to pick up an episode or movie exactly where you left it.

And all with the click of a button.

So if you had to pause a show or movie in the middle, you no longer have to rummage through your set-top box to find it.

Instead, your voice has all the power.

Just press the microphone button on your remote and say “play” followed by the track name.

Your box will then open exactly the one you were looking at at the point you turned off.

The feature will be available very soon for Sky Glass and Sky Stream, Sky’s satellite-less services.

It comes as part of a wave of other major changes.

Another big innovation is personalized playlists, which allow each family member to create their own collection of things to watch.

You can add anything from the Guide, On Demand and even Apps to your personal page by pressing the plus button on your remote control.

Up to five unique playlists can be created.

And as a boost for those who are hard of hearing, there’s also a great update for Bluetooth on Sky Glass.

You can now listen through a pair of Bluetooth headphones at the same time as the TV speakers.

This allows customers with hearing problems to comfortably watch TV with the rest of the family.
