A bride who is due to get married in England in two days may have to fly to Dublin Airport to look for her wedding dress after her luggage got stuck there.
Kamille Catala was due to fly from Dublin to London Gatwick on Aer Lingus on Thursday, but her flight was reportedly cancelled DublinLive.
Although she was rebooked on a flight to Heathrow instead, when she arrived her checked bag – which contained her wedding dress – was not there.
Kamille said she filed a claim with the airline, saying the bag was likely to arrive at her address within 24 hours, but still hadn’t picked it up.

“I called her five or six times. Her baggage claim sent me a voicemail saying there was no news,” she told DublinLive.
“So it’s terrible. The online system says they are still looking for my bag.
“I think it’s still at Dublin Airport because there hasn’t been an update on it online.
“It was never rescanned so it should still be there.”
Kamille said she felt her only hope of getting her bag back in time was to fly home Dublin and look for it yourself.
“I’m getting married in England on Monday,” she said.
“I’m considering catching a flight back to Dublin today to speak to them in person and say, ‘My bag is here, you have to give it to me’.
“I can not reach anyone. Customer service has said they don’t know anything about it.
“I’ve explained so many times that my wedding dress is in the bag but they just sent me to the same link and told me to check their FAQs.
“It’s a tight timeframe. All my clothes are in there and all my stuff is in there.”
Dublin Live has been in touch Air Lingus for comment.
