The Brighton to Cambridge train has been canceled by Thameslink

TRAINS between Brighton and Cambridge have been canceled after damage to overhead wires.

The disruption was caused by damage to the wires that were damaged in the Stevenage area, causing all travel along the route to be suspended.

Delays are expected for the rest of the day as all Thameslink services on the line are canceled for the remainder of the evening.

Thameslink has advised passengers not to travel.
