THE Chase fans were left in awe after a contestant revealed she was waiting for her cat to die so she could buy a dog.
ITV presenter Bradley Walsh, 61, was joined by four other hopefuls, including contestant Ramisa, 25, from London.
The local council official admitted that she was a big dog lover and wanted to use the money to buy a small dog.
The pet lover explained that she is “waiting for her cat to die” so she can invest time in a new pet.
She said: “I really like dogs, spend a lot of time studying dogs, watching dogs, playing with dogs.
“I even downloaded this app to sit the dog, calling myself a dog whisperer. Unfortunately no one hires me, I don’t know if it’s because they’re a bit nervous.”
Host Bradley Walsh, 61, then asked her if she’d like to open her own kennel but she explained that she was only interested in buying her first dog.
She continued: “I have a cat at the moment and it’s a bit cranky – so I want to buy a dog in the future.”
Bradley then asked if she wanted to adopt a dog in the near future, to which the contestant replied, “Yes, that depends if she dies first.”
A gobsmacky Bradley replied, “So the cats have to latch it before you get a cat?” With the candidate laughing and saying: “Exactly.”
The player then tells the host that if her cat is still alive she will use the prize money to place a deposit on a house where there will be a special room for her cat on the other side. opposite, so the cat was kept away from her. dog.
“I’d like to put down a deposit on a home where my cat is dead and I can get a dog or it has a separate bedroom far away,” she added.

The contestant correctly answered three questions in the cashbuilder round.
After banking £3,000, her other contestants suggested she might get a higher offer from Sean Wallace.
But she doesn’t want to risk it all but just spends all her £3,000 she has earned and finds a way back to the final chase.
Ramisa is joined by Robin, 53, a patent attorney from Oxford, Marie, 62, a supply teacher from Somerset, and Mike, 35, a bar manager.
All four members of the team returned to the final chase for a total prize pool of £10,000.
With 19 spaces to block the players, Sean was able to cut off the attack.
But despite performing a pushback, the team is still caught by the puzzle operator and has only 10 seconds left.
