The Chase: Paul Sinha jokes about ‘new rules’ with contestants
Chase fans have been praising Paul Sinha after he proposed a new rule for low-offers players on the quiz show.
The chaser wasn’t impressed when contestant Debbie chose to take £2,000 off the team’s total jackpot after going with the lower prize.
As the Kent artist cheers for the big boys, Paul snaps: “I’m not happy with what you’re happy with… they’ve come up with new rules. If you go back, you owe them me two dollars, sorry about that.”
Viewers flocked to Twitter and said that the show’s producers should take on Paul’s idea.
“#thechase. Good man Chaser Paul. You only get what you put in… New rules!”
“If only they made that rule! #TheChase.” Mayce_Windu commented: “Paul’s rule will be very popular with viewers. #TheChase.”
Another added: “Those who exercise the minus option won’t win any money. Or should have taken away, taken away from their cut #TheChase.”
Hitting Debbie, one said: “Who’s going to be cheering when you win the minus offer? #TheChase.”
Paul also ruffled a few hairs after he told Debbie’s team member that his unusual attire “should be banned”.
Colin, a 59-year-old police call handler, wore a union vest and tie when he appeared on the show with the artist.
Paul joked that it should be banned, and fans agreed with him on Twitter.

But not everyone agrees, with one person writing: “Colin’s waistcoat is amazing!!! #TheChase.” Lozd491 agreed: “Colin’s bow tie is so beautiful! #TheChase.”
Alice commented: “What an outfit on Colin #TheChase.” Swalk added: “Love Colin’s cape! #TheChase.”
Colin made it through the final chase.
In other news for the show, Anne Hegerty’s replacement has been revealed to be Issa ‘The Supernerd’ Schultz, a popular contestant on the Australian version of the show.
Chase favorite Anne had to quit the show after she contracted Covid.
She wrote: “Unfortunately, I have contracted Covid-19 so will not be filming this #BeatTheChasers series.
