The Chrono Cross Unreal Engine 5 fan project is great

Another week and another awesome looking Unreal Engine 5 project is here for us to marvel at and marvel at. This time Arni Village from the popular JRPG Chrono Cross has been redesigned from the ground up in the new engine thanks to the logic of YouTuber Studio.

In a video uploaded to her channel, embedded below for anyone who wants to see this stunning project for themselves, the creator shows two different and beautiful shots of the village. The first is the village center with several seaside huts decorated with brightly colored fabrics. The second is the dock, which overlooks the ocean with distant islands in the distance.

In complete contrast to some of the demos we’ve already seen, this little rendering of the village of Arni is super vivid and reminiscent of the original game as opposed to the super realistic graphics found in the Matrix demo, which we didn’t see before have received for too long. Combine this with the brilliant Mirror’s Edge project we saw last week and we’re totally blown away by more of these beautiful classic video game retouches.

There is no word on whether this particular UE5 project will receive future updates as the creator has not expressed any desire to expand the project further. However, for those who love it, you can get it on Wallpaper Engine to create a new relaxing backdrop for your daily gaming grinds or 9-5.

In other Unreal Engine 5 news, it was recently announced that the next Tomb Raider game will be built with Unreal Engine 5. Let us know what you think about this Unreal Engine 5 project and Unreal Engine 5 in general in the comments below! The Chrono Cross Unreal Engine 5 fan project is great
