The Creation Catalyst is coming to World of Warcraft this week to help you get the tier set pieces you need

The Creation Catalyst will be available in World of Warcraft in this week. This new feature, originally mentioned in The end of eternity Announcements, provides an alternative route to gear up with suitable set pieces.

One of the ways in which The end of eternity Players wanted to create more ways to obtain eligible gear is the announcement of the Creation Catalyst. You can take one piece of gear per week (but if you skip a week, the charges will save so you can use two next week, etc.) and turn it into a corresponding tiered set piece with an item level that matches what you can use in Season 3 gear use them that you buy in Raids, PVP, Mythic+ or with Sandworn Relics from Rafiq in Zereth Mortis. Parts include helmets, boots, legs, gloves, belts, chests, bracers, shoulders, and cloaks.

Any items you put into the Catalyst will simply be changed to a corresponding set piece of the same tier. You must have collected enough Cosmic Flux from activities to use the catalyst to transform your part, and the price depends on what type of part you are using. Bracers and cloaks cost 600, but if you want to transmute chests, helms, or legs, expect to pay 1500.

With changes to drops also included The end of eternity, they have emphasized that they want more players to feel like they have a chance to get what they want and need to be competitive and enjoy their game. Even the limit of 1 piece per week is a soft limit because if you miss a week you have to charge for the next week. If you want to convert an entire set, you’ll have to wait. In the meantime, there are other ways to get the gear you want, but this backup is a new option.

There is also a short FAQ with the announcement that the Creation Catalyst will go live this week. This covers what stats carry over, whether transformed pieces are upgradable along with the rest of the set you put them in, and info on levels.
