The Deathloop update adds photo mode and new accessibility options

An update to death loop was released, adding photo mode and a bunch of requested accessibility options.

Photo mode offers a wide range of camera adjustments to help you capture your adventures in Blackreef. The mode is only available in single player and can be accessed from the pause menu in any map or by activating the photo mode shortcut.

On the PC, the shortcut is set to “P” by default. To enable the shortcut on PlayStation 5, you must select Options > Controls > Controller tab > Photo mode shortcuts > Yes. In-game, double-tap the Create button on your DualSense to open photo mode.

Not only can you choose your filters and angles, but you can switch between Colt and Julianna, change your outfits and weapons, and strike out in over a dozen poses.

The update also adds a dedicated accessibility category to the options menu. Once installed, you’ll now find features like improved menu navigation, HUD and UI customization options, and gameplay settings to increase or decrease combat difficulty, replay count, and game speed.

With the HUD, you now have subtitle options that allow you to adjust the size, opacity, and color of various text and graphic elements. You’ll also find easier menu navigation, allowing the use of directional buttons on the controller to navigate up and down menu lists. Cursor speed can now also be adjusted in Settings to make it easier to navigate Settings with a controller.
