The Demon Hunters Finally Arrive in Gory Anime Glory

The “Chainsaw Man” series comes from Studio MAPPA, the man behind huge hits like “Attack on Titan: The Final Season,” “Yuri!!! On Ice,” and “Jujutsu Kaisen.” It was also announced that the series will have 12 different end credit themes, one for each episode. The trailer above features the opening theme song “KICK BACK” by Kenshi Yonezu, and it’s a great song, especially when combined with the film’s direct action. MAPPA has once again delivered absolutely stunning animation, with the fiery graphics of “Chainsaw Man” so stylized that you can’t help but scream “AWESOME!” on the screen.

Crunchyroll also released a trailer featuring English dubbing, and everything is looking pretty good. This is not surprising, since the ADR director is Mike McFarland, who also handled ADR in “Attack on Titan” and “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.” The English dub of “Chainsaw Man” will premiere at New York Comic-Con on Friday, October 7, 2022, so anyone in attendance can get a preview of the film.
