The Divine Comedy, Baby Raves and Laughter Yoga will be featured at the 2022 Kaleidoscope Festival

The Divine Comedy will be bringing their eclectic sounds to the main stage at Kaleidoscope Festival this year as they and Jerry Fish’s Electric Sideshow are the latest acts to be added to the lineup.

The aleidoscope Music and Arts Festival takes place at Russborough House, Co Wicklow from 24th to 26th June and features top acts such as Feeder, James Morrison, Lyra and a live set of Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats.

Jerry Fish holds the august position of Ringmaster for the entire festival and will make the main stage his home for the weekend – hosting, performing and welcoming special guests on stage.

Billing itself as a family-friendly event, the festival even features baby raves, porridge parties and laughter yoga alongside dozens of activities for all ages.

Festival-goers are treated to three days of music and entertainment spread across 12 stages set in the beautiful setting of County Wicklow’s stunning estate.

The program offers a wide range of activities as part of the program for those looking for a balanced weekend.

Laughter yoga, tug of war, paddle boats, paddle boarding, kayaking, zip lines, a daily 5K, archery, tai chi, drumming workshops, a skate park, castle, croquet and even gumboot tossing competitions are all part of the offerings.

There will also be a cinema, science shows and many workshops to keep everyone entertained.

Organizers said the festival, which aims to promote healthy and balanced lifestyles, is “the only music festival to have integrated a sports and wellness program into the celebrations”.

Organized 5K and 2.5K races start on the Saturday and Sunday before school events such as egg and spoon races and three-legged races. There are also family football matches planned, as well as rugby and gaelic football training sessions for those looking to improve their skills.

The brave can soar through the air on the zipline, scale new heights on the climbing wall, and see how good your aim can be as you learn about bow and arrows and the ancient art of archery.

Family bikes are also available on the nearby greenway, while water sports fans will also be thrilled with the 200-year-old secret tunnel from the property’s grounds to Blessington Lake, which allows revelers to kayak, boat, or test their balance on the lake their costs come with stand-up paddling.

The largest bouncy castle in the world returns to the festival also in 2022, which is sure to tire the little ones and the little ones.

The Woodland Spa helps those looking for a relaxing weekend unwind with massages, while tai chi and meditation are also on offer to participants, not to mention laughter yoga for those in need of a giggle and a stretch.

Drumming workshops are also offered for those who want to both make music and enjoy the weekend’s acts.
