A DRIVER has been slapped with a £450 fine by police after driving without de-icing his screen.
Twitter users are shocked by the uploaded image, which showed the screen almost entirely covered in snow.
The Washington motorist received a hefty fine after being caught driving with a snow-covered windshield.
Trooper Katherine Weatherwax tweeted: “A trooper stopped this driver on SR 16 after observing the vehicle was completely covered in snow.

“The driver received a $553 ticket for 2nd degree negligent driving.”

The vehicle drove another five kilometers before being stopped by police.
The driver told police his windshield wipers weren’t working.
In the United Kingdom, The Road Traffic Act states that windshields and windows must be kept clean and free from obstructions.
Drivers can be fined £2,500 and three penalty points.
Most Twitter users couldn’t believe what they saw.
One said: “There’s no excuse for driving like this.”
Another said: “Deserves every penny of that fine.”
