Around 2.8 million people follow Sidenyraz for his useful tips and tricks, covering everything from food hacks to tips around the house and driving.

Recent videos have helped learn how to properly tie running shoes, remove stickers, and open tin cans with spoons.

He begins this driving video by saying, “Here’s something I didn’t know until I was in my thirties.

“Sun visors in the car go out!”

He then pulls the car’s sun visor down and then to the side before sliding it back towards him.

This offers even greater protection from bright sunlight in summer, but also when the sun shines winter days.

However, it should be noted that not all sights will have this ability.

Most car sun visors can be pulled down and to the side to protect the driver’s eyes from bright sunlight on the side of the car, but not all can be extended like in this video.

Still, it’s worth checking if your car’s visors can do this, as it could make driving safer for you in the long run.

This is especially important as it could be you Fines of up to £5000 for careless driving if bright sunlight obscures your vision.

If the sun shines in your eyes and you take your eyes off the road momentarily, a police officer could claim that you were ‘driving carelessly’.

Rule 237 of the Highway Code requires drivers to slow down or stop if they are “blinded by bright sunlight”.

So if a motorist chooses not to use a visor and also disregards the Highway Code by not stopping when blinded by sunlight, the police have the right to charge you with negligent driving.
