A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after his car overturned on the A29 over the weekend.

Sussex Police responded to a report of an overturned vehicle on the A29 near Slinfold at around 2.25pm ​​on Sunday 11 September.

According to police, the driver was safely extricated from the vehicle and taken to hospital for treatment.

Salvage services attended to recover the vehicle and the road was later reopened.

A police spokesman said: “Anyone with relevant information can email Collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk and include serial number 753 dated 11/09. quote.”
