A drug-addicted black bear goes on a rampage in the new Cocaine Bear trailer.
Directed by American actress Elizabeth Banks, the story is based on the events of a 1985 drug smuggling operation that went wrong.
The official trailer shows officials sent into the woods to retrieve drugs that were thrown off the plane but were found and swallowed by the animal.
In the violent scenes that follow, the bear turns frenzied, chasing people up trees and down the highway.
Cocaine Bear stars Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
The film also stars Ray Liotta and was one of the actor’s last on-screen appearances before his death earlier this year.
The film is slated to release on February 24, 2023.
