The Duchess of Sussex’s podcast, Archetypes, will return to Spotify on Tuesday, October 4, following the end of the Queen’s mourning period, the streaming giant has announced.
The royal mourning period ended earlier this week, with the monarchy and its households returning to official duties.
A notice on Archetypes’ Spotify page said: “Regularly scheduled episodes will resume Tuesday, October 4.”
Prior to the pause, three full episodes of the audio series had been released since its debut on August 23, including conversations with veteran tennis player Serena Williams and pop star Mariah Carey. and actress, writer and producer Mindy Kaling.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a lucrative deal with the audio streaming giant to host and produce podcasts, estimated to be worth around US$25 million (£18 million), on end of 2020.
Meghan is expected to be honored as part of an anniversary event for US women, but will not attend the event, out of respect for the late Queen.
The honorees, including Oprah Winfrey and Malala, will appear on the cover of the special edition of Power of Women of America’s Variety magazine, with an event set to take place on Wednesday, September 28.
Variety says Meghan’s cover will also be postponed due to the Queen’s death.
