The Dying Light 2 patch adds the New Game Plus mode with revitalized mechanics

Techland has released the latest update for dying light 2and it adds the promised New Game+ mode.

The mode is unlocked once you complete the main game, and this time you’ll find modified game parameters to encourage a second playthrough.

You can now advance through the story with revitalized mechanics that include new enemy behavior, more difficult encounters, new objects in the world like the newly added inhibitors, and other changes that significantly change the gameplay.

With New Game+ you can also expect new platinum targets for parkour challenges and an updated enemy distribution. For example, Volatiles and Banshee will spawn during the night, and you’ll find a greater variety of enemy build-ups in encounters.

There’s also a new legendary weapon tier, the addition of gold encounters, and enemy difficulty will scale with your level.

As for other additional content, a new quest called Something Big Has Been Here has been added, which comes with special elemental Goon variants.

Techland also fixed connectivity issues with the patch, improved game performance in co-op, fixed some co-op blocks, and fixed bugs such as one that caused Howlers and Screamers to become invulnerable to damage.

Enemies with bows are less annoying and deal less damage, completed achievements are now correctly awarded upon completion, the patch fixes various bugs related to quests, UI/UX updates have been made, and a FOV slider has been added to the game on PS5 and Xbox -Series X
