Bandai Namco has issued a warning elden ring player on pc.

Apparently there is an issue where save data is not correctly saved to the Steam Cloud under certain conditions.

According to the company, if you do this, you’ll see an error message when launching the game stating that your local save files conflict with the files stored on the Steam Cloud.

Should this happen to you, carefully check the date and time of the last update of each storage. Then you can select the saved data that you want to keep and complete the synchronization.

To load the saved file from the cloud, select Download to this device to the right of Cloud files. To load your local save file, select Upload to Steam Cloud to the right of Local Files. The “Cloud Files” are saved data uploaded from your local computer at the time and date specified in the “Last Updated” section.

Bandai Namco recommends that you backup your local save data elsewhere in case you accidentally overwrite your computer’s local save data with old save data left in the cloud due to operational error.

The topic is currently being worked on.
