The Elden Ring update amplifies Radahn to make him swollen again

elden ring has received a small update that returns General Radahn to his stunning, horse-crushing state.

A new patch was released for the game today (April 4th) which improved the nerf that was applied to the game on Radahn over the last month. This patch, version 1.03.02, contains only the only update, which apparently was just a bug. “Fixed a bug in the balance adjustment of the boss “Starscourge Radahn” in update 1.03, where the power of some attacks was unintentionally reduced,” says the only change in the patch notes.

Some players were upset with the change because they wanted others to feel the same pain it took to defeat Radahn, while others boasted that they’d managed to defeat the terrifying boss pre-patch. But it seems like taking away Radahn’s power was just an accident as it was labeled a “bug” in the patch notes.

However, last month’s patch brought a number of significant changes. For one, NPC markers were introduced, meaning players don’t have to worry about where each individual trader and quest giver lives. That made The Lands Between a bit overwhelming, and they still are – so it’s good we have some Elden Ring guides to get you on your feet.

The update also added a wealth of new quest stages for characters like Nepheli Loux, whose story you can actually now complete, Diallos, Kenneth Haight, and Gatekeeper Gostoc.

Tragically, however, boss fight favorite Spirit Ashes Summon Mimic Tear suffered from a pretty bad nerf that obviously angered a number of players.

For now, however, updates are quiet on the Elden Ring front. Interestingly, fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson has apparently been approached by publisher Bandai Namco about a future collaboration.

Now that Radahn is back to his former self, you might need some help beating him. The Elden Ring update amplifies Radahn to make him swollen again
