The Elder Scrolls Online introduces the new companion Isobel Veloise coming with High Isle

Last year’s Blackwood Chapter introduced companions to Tamriel, and with this year’s High Isle, The Elder Scrolls Online is adding even more. The ZeniMax Online Studios team has put together some information for one of these companions, Isobel, coming with the Chapter Update.
Detailed in the form of a letter in universe, Elder Scrolls Online Players can join Isobel as they travel the Systres Archipelago. According to the letter, the eager candidate for a knight is keen to join one of the many orders of chivalry that make up Breton society on High Isle for as long as she can hold a stick.
The letter, written by Knight Commander Jourvel to High Isles Duchess Elea Dufort, describes Isobel as “dedicated, fearless and kind”. Exactly what anyone would want in a Knight. Some of Isobel’s backstory is also hinted at, as her last name lets players and those on High Isle know that she is a person of status thanks to her affiliation with the Veloise Merchant family.
Isobel is one of two companions who come along high island, the other is Ember, a Khajiit magicka user whose morale is a little less straightforward than the chivalrous Isobel. Those from The Elder Scrolls Online High Island launches in June on PC, Mac and Stadia as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles. High Island is currently on the PTR and available for pre-launch testing if you wish to explore the idyllic Breton Islands ahead of time. ZeniMax also previews the zones you’ll explore, from High Isle itself to the prison island of Amenos. Earlier this month we had the opportunity to participate High Island, specifically the new in-game tavern game, Tales of Tribute. You can find out more here.
