A part-time actor, who has appeared on Emmerdale several times, runs a popular dish in Greater Manchester when he’s not filming scenes for the show.
Hussein Dehaini works for the Tyros family business, in Stockport, with his father, Adnan Dehaini, who previously played for the Lebanon national football team.
The takeaway – which was recently praised for serving “great” food – is named after the Tire family’s home town, where they fled war-torn Lebanon in 2006.
The business – run by the couple with Adnan’s wife Faten Dehaini – is said to have many celebrity clients, including Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw, 26.

Chris Chittell, 74, and his wife Lesley Dunlop, 66 – who play Eric Pollard and Brenda Walker on Emmerdale – are regular customers, according to the report. Manchester evening news.
They were supposed to visit Tyros every month or so, with Hussein – who studied performing arts in college – said to have visited Emmerdale dozens of times as a background artist.

Hussein pursued such acting opportunities in addition to running a takeout, which serves a variety of mezze-style dishes such as chicken stew and lamb skewers.
The outlet reports that the menu at its Stockport property changes every week, with other dishes including homemade hummus as well as grilled meats.

The family is understood to be cooking together, with Adnan – who along with his four brothers played for football club Tadamon Sour SC in Lebanon – discussing it.
He told the outlet that sometimes the food was “a little bit more salted”, which he attributed to Faten, and sometimes it was “a little bit spicy”, which he said was due to Hussein.
Many people are said to have lined the streets to find businesses before the Covid pandemic, although the store reports that such a number of customers have yet to return.
Faten says that’s “very difficult”, saying that 90% of its clients used to work in an office – with many of them now said to be working from home.

Discussing the business, she commented: “We may have survived, but a lot has changed.” She said they were “lucky” to be a family business that could be “nearby”.
And despite the difficulty of tracking the pandemic, there is an “unusually devoted” customer base to Tyros – with many officials visiting the business in Greater Manchester.
