The EverQuest II Chest and Coffin Update continues the supernatural threats with new quests and dungeons

chests and coffins is live in today EverQuest II, and the new update brings new quests, new dungeons, new collections and much more. This update follows that Visions of Vetrovia expansion and continues the spooky and supernatural for those adventurers brave enough to take on the new content.

Visions of Vetrovia contained some complex threats, and if you’ve played through it and discovered the mysteries of Castle Vacrul, you might be prepared for what’s next. There are more whispers from haunting beings like vampires and witches, along with other threats out there. Of course, any investigation and exploration is yours. Just like helping others.

In addition to new quests, there are new raids and dungeons. Forlorn Gist: Akashic Incursion Raid and Castle Vacrul: Haunting Presence Raid are up for the challenge, along with The Merchant’s Den dungeon. The latter is available in Solo, Heroic I, and Heroic II difficulty levels. Forlorn Gist features seven new bosses from Tier 1 through Tier 4. Castle Vacrul features four new bosses from Tier 4 and one at Tier 5. These new raids require you to have completed Visions of Vetrovia Quests or do you have a character on your account that has. Of course, you have the opportunity to earn suitable loot for your troubles.

Other additions include new achievements, new collections, and a new crafting quest line that unlocks advanced level 40-49 tradeskill books. There is also a new tradeskill questline for level 50+ that will allow you to obtain level 50-19 books. Overseer Agent slots can now use Overseer Gear cards. These won’t have as many properties, but they will reduce cooldowns for you on adventures and minions.
