The family of missing Westmeath man Charlie Whelehan, 23, is appealing for information

Gardaí are asking for information on a 23-year-old man who has gone missing in Westmeath.
Harlie Whelehan from Kinnegad was last seen on Sunday April 17th.
He is 1.80 m tall, of thin build and has blond hair.
As he left the house, Charlie was wearing a bright green Superdry hoodie, navy sweatpants, a navy and maroon O’Neill’s down jacket and black running shoes.
He drove his white Opel Combo. The vehicle’s registration number is 06-CN-3886.
Charlie’s father, Pat Whelehan, said: “Charlie has not contacted anyone, family or friends, since he left home. This is out of character for Charlie and not in his nature, so we are very concerned for his wellbeing.
“Charlie had his cell phone with him, but it’s switched off. We have no idea where he might be in Ireland but an extensive search is being carried out.
“We are appealing to anyone with knowledge of Charlie’s whereabouts or who have seen his white Opel Combo number 06-CN-3886 to get in touch with the Gardaí.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Mullingar Garda Station on 044 938 4000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 666.
