The February 2022 Nintendo Direct rollout kicks off today and you can watch it here with us

The first Nintendo Direct of 2022 will begin later today and we would love it if you would hang out and watch it with us.

You can expect around 40 minutes of information mainly focusing on Nintendo Switch games releasing in the first half of 2022.

You can tune in at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm UK.

While Nintendo hasn’t even revealed what happens when it goes live, we’re really hoping to gather more information about Breath of the Wild 2, or whatever Nintendo intends to call it. Announced in 2019, we last heard from House of Mario, the company is aiming for a 2022 release. Hopefully that remains the case and maybe we’ll find out more. tonight.

Look over ours the list of games we want to see announced in Live, one of these is a new Fire Emblem game. Alex thinks the company could announce a new Fire Emblem game based on new concepts introduced in the series in Fire Emblem: Three Houses – which was released three years ago. So it’s about time we were given a new entry in this series.

Most of us at VG247 also want some news about Bayonetta 3. The title seems to have a 2022 release date, but we’ve yet to see very little information about the game. It would be nice to see a bit more of what was shown during the September 2021 Nintendo Direct, and the confirmed release date would be a welcome indeed.

There are rumors that Mario Kart 9 is in “active development” and if true, chances are Nintendo could cheat and announce it at the end of the Direct. While Nintendo says the rollout will be “primarily focused” on games through the first half of 2022, the company might surprise us with information games are in development. While that would be great, we weren’t holding our breath.

Who knows, we might even get some news about Metroid Prime 4.

Of course, there are plenty of games that Nintendo could focus on this evening in addition to the aforementioned ones. Has Splatoon 3Kirby and the Forgotten Land is coming in March, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Triangle Strategy and Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp.

There are also plenty of third-party titles coming to the Switch in the first half of this year. These include: Conan Chop Chop, Far: Change Tides, Chocobo GP, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Rune Factory 5, Evil Dead: The Game, Neon White, Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course, and more.

So follow us this evening and find out what Nintendo has in store. The February 2022 Nintendo Direct rollout kicks off today and you can watch it here with us
