As transcribed from Alpha wantedone investor asked executives about their future single player strategy.

The investor stated as part of his growth question, “They announced or we speculated that some single player games were coming.”

A representative replied: “When we think about single player games, we think it’s a really, really important part of the overall portfolio that we’re delivering to fulfill those core motivations.

“We’ll plan for it over time. It’s really just a look at our community and how they spend their time and where motivations may or may not be fulfilled [by current games].

“We will try to complement this with new online games, new multiplayer games and new single player games.”

This has surprised some fans as EA has previously taken a tough stance on multiplayer gaming superiority.

The company’s Twitter account recently posted a tweet that drew backlash.

It was seen looking down on single player games what FTW speculated could have been a marketing ploy.

It has also achieved record wins in a number of its online games.

F1 22 reportedly far exceeded expectations and FIFA’s online services had their strongest quarter yet.

EA also announced that FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), one of FIFA’s most popular online modes, saw a 40% year-over-year increase in profits.

The company is extremely optimistic about the sales prospects of the upcoming FIFA 23 entry.

It is claimed that the series is becoming more and more successful worldwide.

One executive said: “This year we will launch the most comprehensive FIFA ever. I find it extraordinary that the demand is so strong.

“We will then continue to sell that in the market and we have the opportunity to continue to do so.”
