The FIFA season starts early as the PS Plus lineup for May has been leaked

Just in time for the date, the line-up for May is free PlayStationPlus Games leaked. This has happened frequently over the last few months and this time the information comes from the same reliable source.

PlayStation Plus members will get three games as part of their subscription next month, according to French supply site Dealabs. The list consists of FIFA 22 for PS4 and PS5, Tribes of Midgard for PS4 and PS5, and Curse of the Dead Gods for PS4 (although playable on PS5).

fifa 22 needs no introduction and is obviously the most popular game of the three. However, EA’s sports games are released annually, and we’re probably a couple of weeks away from the reveal of FIFA 23 (which actually won’t be called that), so it’s not the best value for money.

tribes of Midgard is a solid co-op survival game that made waves when it released last year, though many lamented its flawed launch. Since then, however, it has improved dramatically, and the game’s developer is preparing to release new content. So now might be a good time to jump in.

curse of the dead gods is another solid, if unremarkable, addition. This is a rogue-lite top-down action RPG with exciting action, new approaches to in- and out-of-level progression, and an aesthetic that’s easy on the eye.

I spent many hours on it when it entered Steam Early Access in 2020 and was particularly drawn to its combat and unique progression mechanics.

We expect Sony to officially announce the PlayStation Plus lineup for May tomorrow or later this week at the latest. However, judging by the source’s track record, it’s safe to assume these are the games we’re going to get.
