FORMER GTA Boss Leslie Benzies has unveiled his team’s new game, Everywhere.
The team says they want to create a “whole new world” for players to play and create in.
At the start of the presentation, it featured a Fortnite-like art style and sci-fi landscape, but the trailer ended with a close-up of a hyper-realistic human who looks suspiciously similar to Mafia 3’s main character.
It seems like you can bounce between different worlds with different art styles.
There’s gunfights, vehicles, and everything you’d expect from a modern video game.
While much is still unknown about the game, it’s certainly an interesting project – especially when it comes from one of the minds behind the best open-world game series of all time.
One thing is for sure, though — it looks super weird.
It seems to be trying to be the Ready Player One of video games.
A kind of shared universe where you can enter different simulations and enjoy different experiences in different worlds.
We’ll find out more soon, as Everywhere launches in 2023.
Leslie Benzies parted ways with Rockstar on bad terms and tried to sue the company for allegedly missing royalties.
