he fourth phase at Tandy Lane in Lucan has been launched. The houses built by Quintain Ireland are not the only focus of the development but also all the surrounding land.

A large linear park sits within the plan, retaining the mature trees and hedges and weaving new paths for walkers and cyclists.

This isn’t the only green space on offer. Adjacent to the development is Tandy’s Lane Park, a 19-acre facility designed to make all ages happy. It has a sports field, two playgrounds and a “teen space” with parkour equipment, as well as a multipurpose play area.

Residents will also benefit from its proximity to The Crossings, a €500m retail space being developed by Quintain and due to open early next year with anchor tenants Tesco and Aldi.

Back in Tandy’s Lane, the latest phase includes three bedroom family homes in a variety of styles with prices starting at €460,000.

The homes were designed by Conroy Crowe Kelly Architects and are A rated. The exterior of the houses is a maintenance-free mix of brick and plaster, with stone detailing around the front doors. The windows, doors, gutters and downspouts are finished in gray color to complement the facade.
