The Games: Holly Willoughby apologizes to viewers

Holly Willoughby apologized on The Games tonight for ‘mocking’ her co-star on yesterday’s show.

The This Morning presenter has been heavily criticized by fans of the online ITV show after she and co-star Freddie Flintoff ‘digged up’ one of the people who worked on the show with them.

Yesterday, multiple fans called for Holly and Freddie to apologize after they ‘mocked’ cyclist Derny during the women’s cycling race when he was overtaken by Chelcee Grimes and Christine McGuiness.

He was unimpressed when he was overtaken by them, as he intended to take the lead in the first few laps to establish pace.

Opening tonight’s show, Holly reflected on last night’s competition, as she revealed her favorite moment was when Christine and Chelcee overcame Derny. “Don’t disrespect Derney,” Freddie later added.

Holly then replied: “As we found out on social media last night, sorry guys! It might explain why player Derny pacer wasn’t very impressed with the whole thing. He shook his head. head and accompany.”

It also caused some conflict on the show, as Rebecca Sarker and Phoenix Gulzar Brown felt it was unfair that Chelcee and Christine had overtaken Derny, giving them an unfair advantage.

However, independent experts say that doesn’t give anyone an unfair advantage as they’re less than half a lap ahead, leaving both the Emmerdale actress and her co-stars on fire.

ITV viewers took to Twitter to criticize Holly for her remarks on Thursday night.

“That episode of #Game it’s shameful. No one knows the rules, obviously in both live races, and it feels like Holly is mocking the sport and the derney racer in particular. If you’re going to apply this at least do it properly and respectfully,” one person wrote.
