The Goonies actress Andy Kerri Green is unrecognizable 37 years after the movie

THE Goonies actress Kerri Green looks unrecognizable 37 years after her role as cheerleader.
The New Jersey-born star, now 55, is one of the main characters in Steven Spielberg’s classic coming-of-age film, which premiered in 1985.
She plays teenager Andy Carmichael, full name Andrea, the quintessential ‘beautiful girl’ turned adventurer in Goonies and the love of both Brand and Mikey.
It’s been more than 35 years since the group of misfits went on a pirate treasure hunt and since then, the actress has starred in TV shows like ER and Law & Order.
She also continued to direct after writing and co-directing the teen pregnancy film Bellyfruit.
Kerri has her own film production company, Independent Women Artists, with Bonnie Dickenson.
Off-screen, she is married and lives with two children.
A recent image shows Kerri with silky straight brown hair – a stark contrast to her shoulder-length waves in the film.
She wears minimal makeup and lets her natural beauty shine, wearing an elaborate green top that contrasts with Andy’s beige shirt.
GOONIE CRINGE
Despite her success after Goonies, Kerri opened up about her first on-screen kiss at the age of 17.
She told People Magazine: “I was 17 at the time and it was absolutely embarrassing.
“This is when your life is most self-aware, anyway.
“Then you’re being filmed and you have to kiss Josh Brolin – just humiliating!”
Goonies are now available to buy or rent locations including Google Play, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube.
You can buy it for £7.99.
Alternatively, you can rent it for £3.49.
