The Great Escape 2023: More than 90 artists added to Brighton Festival
More than 90 artists have been added to The Great Escape’s lineup.
The Brighton festival announced its headliners Arlo Parks and Maisie Peters late last year.
No, more than 90 new artists have been added.
New talent includes rock band The Big Moon and experimental electro-pop duo Sad Night Dynamite.
Budding pop star and a sensation on social media app TikTok Caity Baser will also make an appearance.
The festival prides itself on bringing new artists into the mainstream and has a wide range of artists from indie bands to rappers to funk and soul DJs.
Others performing include Dutch-born dance duo Amy Root and pioneering singer-songwriter Ber, who travels all the way from Minnesota.
The Great Escape will host up to 450 emerging artists at more than 30 venues across the city.
It was also announced that the festival will be collaborating with Italy as Lead Country Partner for 2023.
Several up-and-coming Italian artists will perform at the festival, including punk band Milanosport.
Tickets are available now and start at £85.
The Great Escape runs May 10-13 this year.
