The hairy snake god is coming

In just over a month, Marvel fans will be returning to Wakanda for Ryan Coogler’s much-awaited sequel “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. 2018’s “Black Panther,” also directed by Coogler, is widely considered one of the best works in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and received an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. But in the wake of the horrifying news that star Chadwick Boseman has passed away from cancer, a health struggle he has chosen not to reveal publicly, the future of the Black Panther mantle becomes uncertain.

Marvel Studios has wisely decided not to rewrite Boseman’s character, T’Challa, and “Wakanda Forever” will instead find his loved ones reeling from the king’s death and to faces new threats to the people of Wakanda – among them conflict with Namor (Tenoch Huerta), ruler of the underwater nation of Talocan.
